We invite you to join us in August for two days of programming focused ?on research, teaching and learning with featured sessions including:
• Research Panel: Insights, Opportunities, Challenges and Expectations
• Critical Conversations in Teaching
• Syllabus Design and Implementation
• MyLearningSpace
• First Class Meetings
• Information Communication Technologies and Active Learning Classroom Roadshow
DAY 1 | August 23 | 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.**
Day 1 will focus on research and classroom technologies.
DAY 2 | August 24 | 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Day 2 will focus on teaching and learning at Laurier.
**Please note: the research component of the program (morning of August 23) is open to full-time faculty only.
This event is open to those who are new to Laurier or have joined as a Laurier faculty member or librarian in the last two years.
Participants will be able to experience a variety of classroom settings and learn with leading Laurier faculty and staff throughout the two days. A full schedule will be emailed to registrants closer to the event date.
Lunch is provided on both days of programming. Dietary restrictions will be captured upon registration.
Information collected is done so under the authority of the Wilfrid Laurier University Act and will not be shared. It will be used only for administrative purposes associated with this event including but not limited to registration and confirmation of participation.
